Thanks Brian - it was just beautiful for about 10 minutes until the sun disappeared behind the mountains

Bloody cold though!

There is something hypnotic for me winter late day early evening light. A part of me wants to stay and just gaze, the other part says its late and cold i should get indoors.

Is that the first snow shot this winter at RPF? Looks beautiful. I'm looking forward to taking the camera out in the snow...none here yet, though.

Thanks everyone :)

Is that really the first snow shot - I thought Blighty had snow earlier this month already?

Pity the location wasn't more scenic, but I was rushing around looking at buildings, so the back end of an industrial park was the best I could muster, given the time constraints!

Beth - if everything goes to plan we'll be opening a facility for work there, so I may have good reason to return, and have some time to scout around.

Thanks Beth - Garden of the Gods is just up the street from the building I'm looking at - perfect!

Strange things happen with cell phones up there - the locals say it's because NORAD is inside a local mountain...

norad is supposed to be shutting down, if they haven't already. local myth is that the waterfall on cheyenne mountain is lit up with different colors every night by nuclear waste from the missile silos and not by the spectacular light show they claim is responsible.

i'm pretty jealous that you've got a clear view of garden of the gods.

I really miss the snow. I lived in Massachusetts for a long time before moving back to Texas to help out my parents. Heck, I just miss Massachusetts. It have only seen snow once (and it was brief) since I have moved back.
