I immediately saw something medieval in its composition, something by, maybe, Giotto. Not sure what, but it does have a little of that style.

Community is what always strikes me with allotments as does this image and having the housing which maybe where the allotment holders come from adds to this. Excellent Rob a good birds eye view.
