Just a few then....... lol
Fair play Darren, I suppose there was alot of photographers there, so it'd be silly for them to refuse. :)

there were 1000s of them Dan, just in case it kicked off, i never seen so many in my life..............the middle bike cop shouted come on then grab your shot........... how could i refuse......he then came over & chatted for good 20 mins on my 40D that nephew was using and my 7D, real nice guy who is addicted to photography.

Hows That Chris?

street and newsy :D

I like #4 Darren. As Pete pointed out the eye contact makes it.

What's that red sandstone building in the background of 1, 2 and 4?

Brian

the building in 1 & 2 closest to the camera is at street level shops & restaurants and above offices, further towards the rear of the photo it was a huge warehouse that used to belong to the railways not sure if it was train shed or storage but something to do with Great northern railways. Now it has been demolished but the front red brick has been kept on just 2 sides of the building and they are mostly designer shops under the arches. the other 2 sides are open and inside toward the middle of the then wharehouse there is now no roof and it is all paved and a few restaurants and a cinema and seating areas

Also i these pics you can see the largest building in Manchester the Hilton Hotel

In pic 4 that is looking down deans-gate and that building is John Rylands University Library

Hope that kinda makes sense.
