Thank you guys, you really are too kind...

I go with Beth. All of them are fantastic but I really love the composition, bokeh, and colors on #2.

#3 is really great too. It's like a beautiful sculpture.

Yes Paul Golden Plover are native to the UK. Quite often seen in large flocks near the coast in winter when not quite so colourful, then move inland for breeding.

Thanks for all the comments they are most welcome.

Good looking birdie shots, Glen. I like how every feather and foreground blade of grass is in sharp focus in the first, and I love the bokeh in the 2nd.

Nice shots, it might be worth cropping the images slightly differently so your subject doesn't always appear right in the middle of the frame. A little space in the direction the bird is looking would make a world of difference.
None of them are right in the middle of the frame.

Thanks Brian...

For a couple of these shots I initially cropped them with more of the "rule of thirds" in mind but the empty space made them look more off balance to me, so I cropped a bit tighter and I preferred them like this.
I realise they may not be sticking strictly to the "Rules" but aren't rule made to be broken sometimes?

Thank you for your constructive criticism Lee, it is very much welcome and appreciated, but in this case i went with what I liked the look of whether it be right or wrong to others:D.
