I like this. Have you been brushing in the HDR effect again? There is something extra about the image, but I can't quite put my finger on it. That's a compliment by the way

The hdr feel is just subtle enough to work I think here .. It's such a fine line before it gets a bit too much I think
The detail should be something that makes you concentrate on the subject and not get distracted by other elements
The only thing I find slightly off putting is the very slight haloing ... But I know nothing about the technique so it might be unavoidable?

Works well here Dave and I like the image. It almost looks like a drawing in some ways and I think that is emphasised by the pose and the connection between sitter and photographer.
