The second solo is indeed one of the best, certainly Clapton's finest moment. It was actually taken from a different gig - the same song, but with that solo edited in. Not only is it a great solo, but the bass playing has Jack Bruce at his peak as well. Drummer ain't bad either

Sorry to hear about Turkey Nihat...it's tough to watch. However...Clapton...aka Slow Hand...is my favorite. I can watch and listen to him all day.

Have had the pleasure of seeing Mr Clapton live a couple of times - always highly enjoyable

Had a very funny experience in Paris - I had booked a concert and hotel package to see Clapton, and when we arrived at our hotel I handed my booking paperwork to the check-in clerk.

He looked at his screen for a while, then started looking puzzled, stared some more and frantically clicked his mouse.

After what seemed like an age he looked right at me and said 'I'm sorry Mr Clapton, I can't find your room reservation'.

We just cracked up - as he realized his mistake as soon as he read the name - swmbo was soooo impressed for a micro-second
