Nikon have announced the D610

The main change looks like it has a different shutter mech which considering how short the lifespan of the d600 before being updated Nikon knows the issues with oil from the shutterbox is bot going away

From what I've read it doesn't affect all D600's but it's more to do with them possibly wanting to make a completely clean break from the assocation of the D600 name... kind of makes sense... unless you're a D600 owner, I guess!

I hope the £1800 price tag doesnt hang around although certain retailers are already throwing in £250 sweeteners and with the D800 only being £100-200 more I cant see how it can!
