Returned to the lagoon this evening, and shot this long exposure IR shot with the X-Pro1 and 18mm lens.

Love the sky and textures Chris as well as the mono conversion but there is a bit too much foreground for me (even though I like the textures in it). I'd be tempted to crop just above the side-branch on the right. What do you think?

Deadwood...? That log looks like a living beast to me. Personally I like the long foreground since the log is such a focal point for the image. Did you use the ND filter, Chris.

Thanks Brian and Pete - Just the IR filter on this one - still gave a very lonnnng exposure with the low light levels and small aperture.

Pete - you're always trying to square me up!
