Hi Steve,
I love exploring in the dark, in unknown territory, uninhabitable places...
There's something about it that makes me tick. Maybe it's the rebelion in me ignoring H&S signs, ignoring keep out signs etc.
As for opportunities, I must agree with you that there are not as much as there is in the U.S, however, there are still thousands of opportunities in the U.K.... Thousands! I've been places we're only a few have walked.
My wife hates it when I go out

I haven't been out exploring since my last tunnel visit about 4 months ago now. Got to get back on it. Lol
I used to be a member of 28dayslayer untill I found out that the admins/mods were stealing from one of my favourite explore sites and selling on ebay, they were taken to court, the results of this outcome I do not know. I cancelled my account. Urban exploration is a self explanatory title and sometimes the reputation is destroyed for the genuine interested folk by some theiving scum bags who are just ruthless and arrogant to what Urbex is really about.... It's in the title!!!. They have a poor standard on there ship now.
And it suprised me that they still have the decency to keep going.
Derelict Places however, I'm still a member of, they're very decent on there. The mods are great. And I've got to know many people on this particular site... For whom one member I owe big time for getting me access into a mile long abandonned rail tunnel.
Urbexing is Great Steve, do you have an interest in it at all? Are you a regular? Lol
