is this from your square pete period? the second photo has a wonderful comp., i like the line of rock leading from the corner to the larger rock in the water.
These are superb Rob (even the downhill one! ). I especially like the composition of the first and the way that one cloud echoes the shapes in the rocks. The glistening in the second really evokes a feeling of summer as well. Nice.
Thanks, Pete. I've been noticing how clouds often echo features in the landscape - not solely in my images, of course. Once you start noticing it, they keep popping up, so to speak.
My theory is that they form around 'thought particles'. You see a pattern in the landscape. Glance up and, before you know, there they are! I'm sure the same happens when you look out the window in the morning and think, "Hmm, nice blue sky. I won't need that umbrella after all!". To me it's obvious. I can't believe no one has detected them yet.
