The man in the hat
Priya and I often go on the same trips, however, we have different choices of equipments and different ways of seeing things, it's rare that we both come back with very similar photos.
We caught our first "duplicate" shots in our recent trip. I used X100 and Priya had her Nikon D40 + 20mm F2.8D. We both happened to shoot in aperture priority at F11, and the cameras picked the same shutter speed for us (1/125).
X100 - 12M sensor with 23mm lens.
D40 - 6M with 20mm.
I think the specs are close enough for a non-scientific and fun comparison. X100 do have twice as many pixels. Can you guess which one is shot by which?
These are RAW files straight from the cameras. I cropped and levelled them a little. By the way, we both shot hand held, and this is not meant to be a serious head to head. Just some non-serious relaxation on a Monday night after battering Fuji for messing up their latest firmware.
