Critique Welcomed Elk Calf

I spent the past weekend and then some on a 4 day backpack in the wilderness area west of my home. It was cloudy most of the time and there was some rain, including one all day deluge. It was the first time I've seen an elk calf in the wild and getting a photo of the little guy was worth dealing with the lousy weather.

Great shot Ralph well worth the hike and bad weather. The colour and markings of his coat stands out well against the green background and as Lesley said his expression with his wet muzzle and eye contact make the image even better
