I'm quite interested to hear what people think of these!
I thought they looks quite nice quite bright and sunny
Emma and John seem to like them too, but id be interested in hearing other peoples thoughts!

Hamish, my hats off to you for the shots, and for doing weddings generally.

PP is bright and colourful, works really well for #1 and #2

Love the reflection in the car - great capture all around

I like the way you're getting in close with the action on many of these - really makes the viewer feel that you're part of the wedding, rather than observing/shooting it - creates a really good energy.

Was the new wide lens getting a work out by any chance! ;)

Close up of their faces might look nice as a B&W, and the last shot as well I think?

Don't know how you do it mate - I only ever did one for a buddy, and that was great, but soooo stressful at the time.

Yeah, I have sort of discovered the "brightness" control a bit with these... Not site if I've gone a bit ott? I think it works though for the subject matter!

I need to tone down the hat in the second one ... I jar a better version of it but must have exported the wrong one ... I'll sort it when I send them the large versions I think!

Just the 24-70 Chris! I'm a bit scared of using the 16-35 at a wedding, I don't want to get into a situation where I'm correcting distorted faces etc

I'm beginning to loose my mind with it Chris ... Funnily enough though, the day it's self is fine! I just spend to long on the pp ... I drove my self crazy with these... Especially as they were for Toms sister, I wanted them to be just right ... I'm still not sure about it all, but I have to accept in the end I'm just being my own critic and out down the mouse ... :)

I'm doing Toms wedding next year too ... I'll no doubt give my self even more greif over those!

Mate Emma has shown me more of these today they really are good, I love them you have captured my family so well and respectfully. don't stress !!!! you have done a truly great job and can't wait for you to do mine, if it ain't broke don't fix it........... To a certain extent I know you have to keep with the trends but what your doing now is great!!!!!

As you say Hamish, nice and bright and sunny. It is very difficult to give opinions on wedding photos as we don't know the couple, occasion, condition etc. OK, you may not not know them that well either, but at least you've met them and was there! These ones certainly show the happiness of the occasion and the confetti picture is really very good. I cannot see them not liking them. Did you cover the reception also?

Cheers Tom, I am pleased you like them!!!

It's funny you mention "trend"
I actually think my style is off trend in as much as the trend is actually for slightly cooler (in terms of White balance) images
I have always erred toward warmth in my wedding images as I personally find it a little more flattering ... But any added warmth at all means the images end up less trendy ... IMHO ... It's a hard balance I struggle to find
Trend and style vs warmth and overall lovelyness ...

Sort of Pete, but the food was brought out rather quickly so we didn't get much there ...
Thankfully we got stacks of shots from before and after the ceremony!

We normally don't get many from before the ceremony as people tend to look a little nervous
This wedding was different, on this occasion, everyone seemed to know each other, were happy to see each other and were happy to be there ... It was definitely one of the nicer jobs I have done... And I'm not just saying that for tons benefit, it was actually really nice!
