Rob's recent 'Edinburgh Old Townscape' put me in mind of this from three years ago.
The Thames Path between Woolwich and Greenwich passes pockets of riverside industry in spite of the invasion of tower blocks. This is Cory's Wharf looking across the river. Similar in conception to Rob's image it also features strong horizontals dividing the different elements. Unlike the sky over Auld Reekie though there are some clouds here to add interest.
While I'm at it here's another from nearby, the Thames Barrier seen from Angerstein's Wharf. The structure in the foreground is an aerial conveyor belt for aggregates.
Both: Minolta XD7 / Rokkor 45mm f2 / Yellow filter / FP4+ / Rodinal
