Nice one Kev!!
You wouldn't believe the amount of light painters I'm in contact with on Flickr.
Trevor Williams (Otherwise known as Tdub is based out in Japan the last time I spoke to him, His work is fantastic and a good reason for my interest in Light Painting.
LappPro (Jan & Joerg) are a duo and have SO much experience in light painting its unreal, I've had many of great tips and advice off them both. Most of light painting is down to prcatice and experience, then you get the knack of it... but then advice is giving by them two.... and then it makes you wonder that there is alot more in it than you thought.
And as for Dana Maltby... He's got more light painting kit to put Las Vegas to shame... lol
Jeremy Jackson (Tackyshack) can Illuminate the sky so much even I can see it from here, and He's a teacher in Virginia!! lol
His work is famous for creating a mass work of art over a lake/pond and then rotating the image from landscape to portrait, and that opens up a completely new perspective of just light painting...... It creates a 'mask' through the parallel reflection on the water. MINT!! worth checking out
And last of all before I bore all of you to bits.
Janne Parviainen or Jannepaint also... He is my biggest inspirer when it comes to do light painting figures! I saw his work and wanted to do it. He's the reason that got me of my arse to do these 'light mummies'.
It all started when I saw this image

and I thought.... Wow.... lets give that a go....
and this was my Very Very first/second effort

Not bad I thought. But then 90% of his work is SOOC (straight out of the camera) and mine had a few level adjustments in PP.
Janne also made it into the Sun newspaper (middle page) about 12ish months ago.... Great guy to talk to, He tells me I should have confidence in leaving the images the way they are and posting them SOOC, but I can't help my self!!! lol.
Thanks for that find Kev, really bought back a few inspirational memories
