The word "barley" in the title predisposed me to expect a field of yellow grain,...so the green was a surprise and it is complimented wonderfully by the blue of the sky. As others have mentioned the portrait perspective works very well, and the slight curve of the horizon adds a little touch of relief from the straight lines. Great shot.
