F/S Very rare copy of Practical Photography magazine from September 1983

Hi there,

I am currently selling a copy of Practical Photography dated September 1983. the item is in superb condition and has been well looked after.

The item is going for £15 plus postage costs since it is a very rare item and plus the magazine is almost 30 years old. If i do not get any reasonable bids for the item or i get many offers then i will post the item on ebay on Thursday 18th August.

Pictures are attached of both covers from the magazine.

p.s. sorry about the sexual content on the front cover, it seems you could get away with that back then for it to be ok enough to publish without needing adult content warnings all over it or top shelf only advertisements.

Mark - we always used to joke that it was called Practical Pornography back in the day, due to the choice of cover photos, and the seemly inexhaustible series of articles on shooting nudes... artistically of course!

Bit racy for the Scouts!

It was actually published by the company my dad worked for - EMAP - and I managed to snag a few ex-review items from the magazine when I was a kid - namely a tripod, and some Philips PhotoFlood lamps.
