Don't know if this works.If only the birds reflection showed up...I would have just used the reflection...

If I'm honest Glenn then I have to say, not quite for me. If you lose the bottom third it becomes a nice shot of a cormorant(?). But if you lose the column itself it becomes fine addition to your reflections series, even without the bird.
