First Film Camera

target didn't have any film that i could find so i stopped in a rite aid on the way home and found some fujifilm superia 400. the guy at the counter told me i could save money by switching to digital.

Target in my area doesn't have any 35mm film at all. (They have Fuji instax and they have one-time use cameras.) Right Aid, CVS and Walgreens are your best bet. I think CVS usually has the Kodak BW400CN in 24 exp. Right Aid sells film under their own brand name, but it's Fuji film. Sometimes they have two-for-one sales going on and occasionally you can get a super deal.

i saw that and wondered what it looked like. they had a deal with 4 rolls and either free developing or one of the 4 was free, didn't read the offer because i didn't know anything about the film. nice to know it's fujifilm though. i'll keep an eye out for that from now on.

Costco have a cheap dev and scan to CD service if you have one local - $5 or something like that - done in an hour as well, so just time to buy that speedboat outside, and a really large flatscreen TV!

thanks. costco is a good hour drive, we have a sams club that's local and we're members so i'll check with them. i think the hour wait will probably be spent finding tires for my car, . stupid car. doesn't it know i have photography things to buy.

thanks for all the help with what to get and where to start looking, i'm pretty lost at this.

I too find cars to be inconsiderate - always have their hand in your wallet (just like kids).
