Just got the Sigma 30mm 1.4 Art lens for the SD Quattro this evening, resulting in a quick try out in the garden. Here the lens somehow managed to look beyond the lavender head that was too close, into the one that was behind it. I thought that was strange, but it makes an interesting picture. Sigma Photo Pro into Lightroom 6, then cropped in Elements 11.

Susan is starting an Introduction To Botany course at the Botanic Gardens, so this lens could come in handy.

Yes, close-up lenses can be very effective.
