Critique Welcomed Fishing in Norway

interesting, there's a nice patch of flat ground to the right, but everyone has insisted on building either on water or on a steep hill. ;)

i like the cloud covered mountain in the background, truly stunning landscape.

This is truly one of the most visited places in Lofoten, Norway by the name of Henningsvær. Great artists have exhibited paintings and painted there. One can wander about for hours albeit the place is not large at all, just a little fishing village. They catch fish all the time, there is a certain calmness about the place although it can be quite weather beaten at other times. I want to go back there during winter if I can. I may post some more from the area if I may. So thank you Beth, Tom and Julian. I'll be glad to answer any question that may arise.

As you say I suspect it is not so calm at times. yet it must have a decent amount of shelter or the houses on stilts would be battered . I presume this is sheltered from storms which is why fishing villages are built in such locations.

You are quite right Julian and they have been there for more than a hundred years.
