The light was very interesting when I took these photos. I’m not sure my photographic equipment was really up to the task, and I’m not even sure I chose well among the thousands of possible framings. I hope some sense of physicality, of sensuality, comes through in the contrast between the soft lines – which almost look like details of naked human bodies – and the sharp hardness of the spines. Another photographer might have been able to bring out far more than I managed. Thank you, @Beth Anthony.
