Critique Welcomed florida

What a wonderful image, Beth. Its like there is vapor coming out of those holes in the rock. The horizon, too, is very appealing in the way it serves as a border between the sea and the sky. Very nice indeed. (By the way, I've been lately wondering where you were. Glad to see a post from you!)

I have to agree with both Brian and Tom here. Can't be said better. Can't be done better Beth.:) Enjoy you vacation if you are still there. Enjoy life if you are not there.;)

Gorgeous!

What sort of exposure time was this Beth?

thanks guys. i'll be around more soon..

@Brian Moore my camera went back to fuji (finally got around to it) for the light leak issue that affected the first batch of cameras. when i got it back i found out they didn't hook up the ribbon cable for the lcd correctly and the lcd screen looks posterized. and work has been nuts, some crazy tour bus driver tried to take a cloverleaf exit at full speed and power slid the bus almost the whole way down the ramp until it all went horribly wrong. i could just about go mountain climbing on the pile of paperwork that caused.

@Rob MacKillop unfortunately, no toys this trip, we flew and somehow i thought that tsa would take issue with me trying to take a 10" solid steel rocket in my carry on. no way and i checking that, someone will take it home with them. ;)

@Glenn Clabo one of my coworkers is expecting when i usually vacation so things got rescheduled at the last minute.

thanks @Tom Dunne, i used the photographers ephemeris to find out when sunset was and the marine weather app by accuweather to find out when high tide was. the coquina rocks are only in the water during high tide and i wanted to get a nice sunset. high tide and sunset coincided, but the weather had other ideas so i figured i'd turn my grey skies into b&w. the comp. is easy enough to find in this location, finding a dry place to stand isn't so easy.

thanks @Ivar D. Larsen, we fly back on wednesday.

@Chris Dodkin thanks. fuji x-t1 and 10-24mm @ 14.5mm. 6.5s, f/10, iso 200. tripod, but i forgot to bring a remote and my phone battery was dead.

thank you @Steve Boykin :D
