The third image here from the set takes me into two different time zones. I don't think it is simply the hoopla hoops alone that give the aged feel, but combine this game with young children on the street/outside the house, is what reinforces that sense of past times.
The photographer, Rhona, looks as if she is walking out of the picture having visited a time gone past, adding the possibility as if this image was recorded by Rhona, giving a fourth dimension.
Lots of images within one photograph for me.

Thanks, Julian. Yes, it is odd to see children playing like that these days, which is a shame. And the mother seemed happy for us to photograph them - even more rare.

Super series Rob. I especially like the third shot with the little girl looking straight at you and Rhona passing through the shot. Brilliant. And the timing on the last is spot-on. It almost looks like you have stumbled upon a fashion shoot for a moment.
