Frozen Humberston Fitties - Lincolnshire

There is a weird little place in Lincolnshire known as 'The Fitties'. It is at a place called Humberston and is very easily overlooked if you have no prior knowledge. At this place is a community of beach huts and chalets that have been there for many, many decades. It is the end of the road. There is no way through but you come to a lagoon that is an RSPB reserve on the edge of Tetney marsh. Beautiful place on days such as this.

Oh yes, 10:30 at minus four degrees.

Many thanks Rense !

Now if only I was still shooting medium format and printing onto Agfa Record Rapid as I was in the 80's. True quality and depth but you know, progress ;)

Thank you Peter. I have to admit I love shots like these myself. This kind of thing always reminds me of an album cover by someone like Jan Garbarek. I guess it sometimes pays to get out in sub zero temperatures and do something.

Love the mist with the mono
