I just heard this morning that Fuji has announced that they plan to discontinue the FP3000B black and white "peel-apart" film that is used in Polaroid Automatic Land Cameras. This is sad news.
(I think I have about 15 Land Cameras and although I don't use them often, I still use one or two from time-to-time.)
If Fuji carries through with the plan it leaves only their FP100C (color film), and you have to wonder if that one will be around much longer.
Some of you will have heard of the Impossible Project and how they bought old Polaroid machinery and figured out how to create film and emulsions for the later Polaroid cameras (SX-70, Spectra, etc.). This is not the peel-apart type film though. Nobody makes the peel-apart film but Fuji now.
