Funny Wide Angle Lens Distortion

Just found this pics my nephew took of me with my camera few weeks back, my legs look sooooooooo long and the Eiffel tower looks kinda squished from above

It's the effect of using a wide angle lens David!

i recon that's not a half bad photo!

Well when i was in paris the lens i had ( love & use more that any ) was 24-70mm f2.8 then on my crop sensor 7D it was to close to get me & Eiffel tower in so only other choice was sigma 10-20mm and this was the effect

I kinda like it in strange way

Sorry, missed the obvious part in the title! I think you can correct such effects in lightroom if you plug the lens make and model in, its still a cool photo though
