Glasshouse Mountains from One Tree Hill

On Sunday evening, while on my way home from spending the weekend at my brother's place on the Sunshine Coast, I took a detour via Mountain View Road, Maleny to take a long promised (to myself) sunset / golden hour photo of the Glasshouse Mountains from One Tree Hill. The light wasn't all that kind to me and the "golden hour" wasn't all that golden. The light was also rather hazy. I took many photos as the sun set to my right.

This is one of the better ones.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Great timing and perfect framing. Nice processing rendering the image a painterly appearance. Plus the severely eroded mountain tops in the background speaks to a painting with imagined elements and not a documentary photograph. I suspect this is the "Sunshine Coast" in Queensland? Again ... Well Done.

Thank you. I was referring to Queensland's Sunshine Coast. This photo was taken in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland:

Here's what Wikipedia has to say about the Glass House Mountains.

I grew up in an agricultural community 35 miles east of Los Angeles ... this photo (Mountain View Road above) could have been shot there. BTW- are you cropping in post or the OM-1 has a pano setting which you have dialed in?

I am cropping in post. That gives me more flexibility in how I crop and helps me give the photo a more "balanced" look.
