A continuation of my Golden Gate Photos. If you follow a path on the south end of the bridge down the coast a bit you come to a place called Marshall's Beach - near Helmet Rock. From here you get a different perspective/POV of the bridge

That is a one I have never seen of that bridge before, from That angle and I really like it. And no car can drive down there in order for you to make the image as far as I know, so yes, you walked:D I bet a certain guy shall dispute it though, the walking I mean.

I am glad Ivar believes that I walked down to this spot - I was wondering how to go about proving it; and no I did not get wet (successfully dodged all waves). Swimming was not an option for me - I prefer to do my swimming is much warmer water (and without a backpack full of camera gear).
Thanks to Rob and Pete for the ID on the green rock - I was a bit curious as to what it was.

If I'm not mistaken that rock is serpentine.

It's a beautiful image, John. I dare say it's one of the best I've ever seen of the bridge. Super composition.

I'm with the others - excellent composition. The lines all lead the eye to the bridge.
