google offering nik collection for $149

Hi all, long time no see...

If you have owned any Nik software in the last 5 years, even if it's just one plug-in i.e. Silver fx pro then you will be entitled to download the full collection free of charge.

*CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM BOX* emails from google will probably end up in there. I've just downloaded the collection as an upgrade from silver fx pro. All seems good but I didn't get the HDR fx pro plug-in, not that i'm bothered about that though.

EDIT: Didn't have to enter any S/N at all.

I got my link! I had bought a boxed version from a distribitor, not a download so NIK didn't have my details. I phoned them and gave the S/N and they emailed the download link immediately.

Glad you got it sorted.

Mine was boxed too, but I registered with them for updates etc.

Enjoy!

Hi guys! I'm afraid I'm really confused here. I have Color and Silver Efex, both bought within the past 18 months or so. I don't remember getting the e-mail asking for details to be passed to Google. I may well have done, but I could have said, yes, no, or just deleted it. My life is so chaotic at the moment. I have had no e-mail recently, but I would be interested in this offer. Am I eligible and if so, what exactly do I need to do? :)

First, check your spam box - that's where I found mine. If that proves fruitless, phone them up or email them. You should still have your serial numbers to prove that you bought them. I imagine they are quite busy at the moment, though, but it would be worth getting in contact.

No - I always check my spam. So I just need to contact them about the offer? What if I did say no to passing details to Google? I really don't remember...

I think that was just for permission to transfer you details. I guess the upgrade would still work but you won't get an email. Try contacting Nik - I'm still awaiting a reply and if I haven't heard by the end of next week I'll call them in Germany.
