The type of photograph I've taken many times before when the Rhododendrons are out. This year being no exception. Same old same I guess but hey ho I have given it another go.

Very nice Julian. The vignetted ones are my favourites. They have a wonderfully mysterious, hothouse feel to them.

Thanks Pete. Thing is when I shot these I deliberately under exposed or at least exposed for the Highlights alone. It did not return the success that I have had with the OM-D doing this, so something learnt. But tried to salvage something.

That is interesting. But it does have the feel of those earlier shots I think.
In many ways I think the Merrill's are very analytical , if a camera can be. It is I think amazing documentary camera, but some off these the last ones where I tried a bit more creativity and play on light I at least struggled. But it may as we know simply that day when things don't go accordingly.

Second to last is a beaut, love the dark vignette leaving that colourt pop like the pano crop too.
Thank you Nick much appreciated.

first and the last are excellent, love the details you've caught.

Thank you Beth.
