Graffiti Art Potsdam

Here is a series of graffiti artworks on the hoardings in front of the site of the re-building of the palace in the centre of Potsdam.

All shot on Sunday at around 17:00 using a Leica M9 + Leica Summilux 35mm f1:1.4 lens (1/75s at f1:8.0). Initial PP and final gradients were applied in LR, however, the main processing was done using Nik ColorFX Pro 4 as layers in PS CS5 combining a cross process simulation with glamour glow selectively painted away in areas using a layer mask. A curves and saturation adjustment layer was used to control overall contrast and saturation.

Puts me in mind of the graffiti that used to adorn 'The Wall' in the mid 70's

That's true Kev. The graffiti in Berlin is certainly still there but more uniformly distributed now that someone has torn down their canvas!!

I must scan my slides from Berlin from before the wall came down as I have loads of images of the graffiti on it from the section from the Brandenburg Gate down to Checkpoint Charlie and Potsdamer Platz.
