GRATE

I know Pete I did actually crop quite a lot of from the top as it is. I now long for a tilt and shift. Could never afford one, but I can see myself using it for a lot of things of late..
Would a tilt and shift cope with getting all this in focus, this close. I was about ten feet away. 304.8 cm in new money.

The photographers eye never ceases to amaze me. Well seen and thanks for sharing.
I thought about a tilt and shift for my X Pro 1 for ages but could not justify the cost so what I decided in the end was that I could buy a Nikon lens adaptor and hire the lens if needed.

Steve my route be to buy a 35mm lens and then adapter. It would mean it would be future proof and used on most cameras. Tilt and shift i'd use manually any way. I will look out for an old canon one initially as they have had recently updated to version 2's there may be a few coming on the second hand market. Although Samyang have just released Tilt and shift, must see what the reviews have to say. Still expensive though, but worth it.

It would probably need more tilt than you could get on a SLR but it would certainly help.

Thanks Pete , exactly what I had thought or imagined.
