Grey Lady Of Heligan

Lesley Jones

Otherwise know as Zooey
I nearly posted this last night and then changed my mind at the last minute. It's quite different to what I normally do, but I do love the quirky nature of this sculpture. She's only a few years old, but was apparently designed on the tale of a ghost emerging from her slumber in the woods and who was last seen heading in the direction of Mevagissey.

I did like this place, but I was so ill by this time that I was only able to drag myself around the central part. Lunch was an ordeal as I spent the entire time worrying I would either keel over or throw up (for the umpteenth time). I think you need to spend many days exploring here and I didn't do it justice...

That's wonderful - I could see this as a book cover or film poster for a fantasy/vampire movie

I love the saturated softness in the image Lesley

is that one of those algae masks for exfoliating? excellent shot lesley, it reminds me of some of those native american creation stories where mother earth fell asleep and became the mountains.

Exfoliating? That would be a lost cause around here I think, but I like the story about Mother Earth. Not so sure about the vampires though Chris... :D
