What a fabulous composition - and I love the look - That glow you get from IR - nice :)

That's a great location for a shot - I'm going to have to steal that one Nihat!

Thank you very much, Chris. :) It's a beautiful building complex.
Parking adjacent to the observatory can be still available, if you are a morning visitor.
I'll look forward to your images of Griffith Observatory.

Than you very much, Beth. :)
Love this place. I wish it wasn't 90 miles round trip for me.

Many thanks, Brian. :)
Chris, you and I should meet here sometime.
With the LF load, I'd be very slow thought..

Thank you very much, Rob. :) I try to show up.

Many thanks indeed, Pete. :)

Since the film is Efke Aura IR820, I used IR72 (infrared) filter on a Schneider 150mm/5.6 LF lens, Brian.

Thanks Nihat. I was also wondering how deep the red was and you answered that, too.

What are you doing for IR now that Efke has closed shop? (I see that Freestyle has Rollie IR film, and it has a sensitivity "up to 820 nm".)

Also, what developer did you use?

(By the way, Freestyle has announced a new line of film & papers coming: Arista "Silver Collection." Its made in England, and therefore probably Ilford, but it could be Kentmere I suppose. I'm guessing this line is filling the space left open by the end of Freestyle's Arista Premium--Kodak Tri-X--line.)

Hi Brian,

I'll start using Rollei when my Efke stock is depleted. In the meantime Rollei increased their price of IR 120 from $8.99 to $10.99 per roll (22%). There are rumors of buying the closed factory in Crotia and retool it.. Maybe it's wishful thinking. I use Ilfotech DD-X with Efke.

I checked Arista Silver Artist papers at Freestyle Photo. They are limited by size and pricey.
