I mentioned in another IR thread that you can hand-hold the X-Pro1 and shoot IR - something that's normally only possible with special IR modified cameras.
This test shot was taken hand-held at ISO 6400, f/2.8 and 1/45 - 18mm Lens
As you can see, I even managed to freeze the speeding pedestrian on the far sidewalk!
You get more noise/grain, as you'd expect - and you need fast glass to get a decent shutter speed - but it's very doable.
Shooting at f/2.8 does limit the overall sharpness/DOF of the final shot however - it's always a trade off.
