I shot this with the NEX5n with the Meyer optik 100/2.8
I need to get out side to get a better grasp of the creamy dreamy lovelyness, but looking at the glow off her fingers things are looking good for the sort of prettyness im looking for from a long lens!
Nice to have 1m focusing too!

Did you use focus peaking Hamish. The Meyer has a mellowness which makes the Nex look organic.

Mellow is a good adjective ... Yes, I like that!
yeah, focus peaking picked up on the glint in her eye (somthing I find it is very good at) and the brush its self!
my next lens is a meyer 75 1.9 ... If you see one, let me know!!

is very similar to jupiter 85 2

Does the jupiter have that level of swirl to the background? The meyer looks so curved and distorted... I love it!

A few test shots Jupe 85 2 with Kodak SLRc.
Cat (missed focus cat) is probably the best indicator (from the test) of swirly bokeh.
