I like the effect here. There are loads of various presets and actions etc for adding tints and colour casts but I think they dont work as well.

Nice Hamish even with the focus shift. I love the glow it gives to skin.
I'm not so keen on IR in landscape. It's just too obvious. I remember one quote (can't remember who though) along the lines, "A real photographer knows how to use infrared film, but chooses not to!".
But for some subjects I think it can really add something.

Yeah, I've heard that before ... About something completely different within photography, but I can't remember what ...
My veiws are fairly uniform ... As with everything else in photography (and beyond) there is a time and a place for most things ... As I said in the other thread, the skill to this, I think, will be finding that time and place!

That glow is very nice - would work well in B&W I expect
