Hasselbald 150mm/extention question

im going to pick up a 150c tomorrow.
Long story, it's instead of the Nikon f100 ... Work that one out

anyway, I've just read that for head and shoulder portraits you need a 16mm extension tube...
Is that true?

Most certainly not. But, to make sure I even checked ('cos I usually use the 180mm) and with a 150 mm CFi and a H&S fills the frame nicely from about 1.5m.
