I was walking Sadie and this image appeared so I quickly snapped the fotie without composing the image though the eyepiece. I thought about straightening it. In fact, I actually did straighten it for a moment with the tool in Picassa. And it didn't look too bad either. However, I decided to leave it as you see it.

Olympus XA3 and Kodak Gold 800 film.

I'm glad you left it like this Brian. It kind of reflects the apparent eagerness of the two surfers to get out into the waves. I especially like the sense of anticipation of the young lady, even though she is mostly a silhouette.

Thanks, Pete. Yes I felt, too, that angle of the horizon somehow influenced the image in a positive way. "Eagerness" wasn't what I saw in it myself but I appreciate that you can see that there. Thanks again, Pete.

I love how the young lady is kind of elsewhere looking into the sea like she given herself to the sea ... lost in a memory hugging the board close to her.
The contrast with the young man's purposeful stride carrying the board.
