hi everybody just thought i would say hello
my main interest is wildlife at the moment but have a large enough family to keep me going on the portrait side ( if i can get them to sit still long enough )
any way i will try to join in when i can

cheers

Welcome Mark - looking forward to seeing some of the wildlife shots, and the family too :)

thanks for the warm welcome :)

it's the northwest UK Ralph and i don't really bother with football Rob i suppose if i had to choose a team it would be bolton wanderers just out of town loyalty but thats about it
i'l get round to a few photos in the near future iv'e noticed a lot of you are still working with film which is nice to see but it's something i won't be doing all my shots are strictly digital and have been for the last 10 years or so
i think digital has come far enough now to make it worth while and my last film stuff from the 90's wasn't that great anyway, strictly family snap shots if i recall

Welcome to RPF Mark. I'm sure you'll enjoy this place. I was up in Bolton a couple of weeks ago and had a fantastic Thai meal but can't remember the name of the restaurant. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing some photos and discussing photography with you. There does seem to have been a bit of a renaissance in the use of film on RPF but, aside from Brian, I suspect the majority here are just flirting with it. Still, who knows...

I'm not a football fan either, but have a friend who travels to Bolton every other week from Edinburgh. She was born there.

Film - I love it, but it is proving too expensive to develop, so I'm now doing digital. I do intend to do the odd film reel every now and then.

Welcome to the site.

I take exception to that Pete ;)
I'll have you know at least 90% of what I have posted this year has been film ... And I fully intend to keep it that way!
Even the pce is currently mounted on my f3 ... Although for some strange reason it's movements all of a sudden seem rather insignificant ;)

Northwest UK? Well that's ok too. Looking forward to seeing your images.
