couple of fairly boring untouched shots
iso200 f/2.8 1/60 - AF, aperture priority, auto iso
iso200 f/2 1/125 - AF, aperture priority, auto iso
iso500 f/16 1/60 - MF, aperture priority, auto iso
the digital rf is a thing of beauty - i can see me shooting a lot of manual focus with this ... I think coming from using lots of 1950's compacts and the like, this camera makes a lot of sense to me
One thing that strikes me almost instantly about some of the comments on its limitations ...
Its mentioned that it cant be used at f/2 / 1/4000th (and 1/2000) ... this is touted as a limitation that has to be gotten around using the nd filter

it occurs to me that they are looking at this from the wrong angle ...
ok, you cant use it at f/2 and 1/4000 ... but you can use it at f/2 and 1/1000 with the smae result using the nd filter ... so whats the issue...
in theory they could have just limited the camera to 1/1000 and no one would be the wiser ... but instead they have allowed the use of faster shutter speeds at smaller apertures ... thats a bonus, not a short coming ... and it has a built in ND!
do you see what im getting at ...
