Hello

Hi Clive!

Another Lincolnshire 'Yellow Belly'?

I'm originally from Stamford, so a little way down the A1 from you.

Love your industrial shots - both day and night ones - fabulous :)

Hi Clive
Welcome!
We are a new forum ...
How did you find us?
Hope you enjoy your stay!

Thanks for the welcome, Hamish I was actually surfing the net looking for something to do with the canon 1d mkll, and as you do, well I do ended up going from one place to another and found your forum, so glad I was looking now.

Good stuff, well welcome our first posting member that hair stumbled across the place and started posting ...
I think all the other regulars have joined through association ... A good omen for the future of the forum ... Your very welcome here! :)
So, can I ask, what attracted you to join? ...

After reading various threads and seeing the way the forum is run, thought what a friendly crowd, and it doesnt seem to be toooo formal like some places, so joined, and here you are stuck with me, well probably not,:), look forward to been able to pick more up as I do what I do, and who knows may even be daring and post a picture or two, I'm always open to critique and hopefully people will pass their opinions on my pictures and I will be given alternatives to try, I'm waffling now look.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of waffling ... Glad you have picked up on the friendly vibe ... I always struggled with photography forums finding them a bit ... Well yeah, formal is a good word ... Also often a little hostile, or at least filled with people who feel their opinions are fact ...
I want to promote a much more relaxed atmosphere here where people arent scared to share their images because they know that even the people who don't get somthing out of their images still appreciate the work - however simple, complex, self indulgent, over arty, over post processed ... Or indeed just a snap it might be ... We are all on a learning curve but that curve is different for all of us ... And that's not to mention how different what we actually like to produce is...
Photography is such a fantastic hobby, easy to learn how to pick up a camera, but a challenge to master ... We can all learn from each other... Irregardless of how much we think we know ... And thats the key to a friendly community in my books!

So let's see some photos then Clive :)
