Hey guys, just a quick word to say hello and to introduce myself. This looks like a great forum harbouring some great pictures.
As for myself, I have been taking pictures ever since the late 80's when I owned my first camera, a Nikon EM. I have always had an interest in shooting architecture and abstract photographs, sometimes both subjects go hand in hand. I like to shoot street photography but you won't get anything like the current useless glut you see on Flickr, from me...:)

I currently use a Ricoh GR with the GW-3 21mm which has relegated my Pentax DSLR to the back of the cupboard. I'm not a gear-head though...

I originally come from the east-end of London but I now live in West Yorkshire...

Hi Paul, and welcome. As a contributor to the useless glut on Flickr, I look forward to seeing your work ;) Seriously, though, welcome to the forum!

Thanks, Hamish.

Oh no, Rob. What I meant to say was that Flickr is just flooded with meaningless 'street' photography taken without any artistic intent or understanding of the genre...You good sir, are above that I'm sure. I have checked out your site and like a great deal what you've shot...

Welcome to the mad house Paul - you're in good company here

So you moved out of the big smoke to God's own country - quite a change of scenery!

Oh yeah, tell me about it, Chris. I am a city person by heart and I do miss the place very much...

Another hi from America, Paul. Judging by your repartee on this string of posts, I'm guessing you'll fit in very well! Welcome to RPF.:)

As Tom said, I am late too in welcoming you. It takes such a time to spell it right and send it all the way from Norway. I don't understand everything here, but the bunch have been real nice to me and I hope and expect that they shall also be to you. Good luck to you Paul.;)
