Spotted this today - I visited this building in Orange County CA for a meeting

X-T1 and 56mm Lens @ f/8

Modern what? Very nice shot, Chris. So, the 56mm lens isn't just for portraits. That's all people seem to talk about with this lens, but this looks great.

It's a tribute to Orchestral Maneuvers In The Dark, Rob - The lens is cracking stopped down to f/8 - really nice

Love the limited colours here and what great lines.
Thanks Pete - spotted it on the way into the meeting - shot it after I came back out, and the light was just right - did a perspective correction in PS

Nice, Chris. What building is it?
Thanks Brian - it's just off 73 in Aliso Viejo - next to the Pacific Life Building

Mmm very tasty great colour and form, that's a winner for me
Thanks Nick - the sky was really nice as we have storms heading in producing some high cirrus patterns

That messes with my eyes!

I like it :)
Thanks Dave

wonderful use of lines in the comp., esp. the reflection of the lines from the building in the windows.
Thanks Beth

.... and well spotted too. Gosh, the edge of that building looks like a razor cutting through the sky; I feel this gives the great initial impact. Ivar mentioned B/W; not too sure really as I would hate to loose sight of that nice aqua marine colour of the interior.
