Hitchcockesque.... Gulls with the Tamron 10-24

Very Nice, Great Shots Rense .......... I'd love to see those in B&W as well.

Love these Rense #2 is really good, what a shame the high left was positioned as the high right over the open wings of the one below, now in BW really Alfie Hitchcock, ,I can feel my eyes being pecked out :D

Thank you all!

These were shot from the deck of the ferry from Texel, this afternoon. A school class with sandwiches helped a lot!

awesome photos, great clarity & detail, This is stuff of nightmare for me i am scared of seagulls........haha

would love to know your method of approach to grab these, i guess flash was important ??

Wonderful series of shots there Rense. Especially the third and the second to last.

Have you seen The Wizard of Oz by any chance? You'll get the reference to flying monkeys if you have (image two).

And, if I'm not mistaken, there are a couple of Dodkin Surveillance Gulls in that bunch too - he's keeping an eye on you too Rense. None of us are safe from that power crazed maniac - he'll be getting a white cat soon! ;)

So angry, and the sky as well - wonderful!

These are great, I never thought of using a wider lens for gulls but certainly will try it some time...

These are wonderful, Rense! All superb, the 1st & 3rd work best for me though!

wow these are amazing, I find the sharp focus to be exceptionally accurate which I've found is a difficult task with birds in flight like that, may I ask what the f stop & shutter speed was?

Thank you! Yes of course: these are made at ISO80, f/9, and an exposure of 1/1250 second...
