Horizon - Glasgow To Edinburgh

"The scanty vale of human life" I like that.
Very pleasant images of your trip Rob. What stadium is that in the third from last?
I like the blue, impatient looking image on the small shed on one of the industrial shots.

Cheers, Tom. The stadium is the home of Scottish rugby, Murrayfield. Music concerts are also staged there. I saw REM about 20 years ago, maybe less.
I think the two industrial graffiti shots are hen houses, with a million or so poor buggers cooped up. I feel like setting them free...probably do more harm than good.

Excellent journey shots Rob. I like the sequence, the industrial agin the open landscapes. Yes those chickens aught not to be cooped up.

Cheers, Julian. I enjoy these shots, as you get no time at all to form a composition, yet very often you couldn't have framed them better. I suppose I could have been more careful with the horizons, but I quite like them sometimes when they are offset.

I do like out of the train shots. I often take them but only occasionally show them (or even process them properly) - must try harder. Framing the series between the definition and the selfie works very well and makes them more contained if you see what I mean. Especially as the first few show the view contained by hills on the horizon. I like the fleeting view of the cricket match very much and so much more because it is clearly a fleeting view. And Jenners Depository with the reflections is very pleasing. A super set.

Thanks, Pete. The cricket match surprised me for two reasons: One, that it was a cricket match, and Two, that they were in whites. Looks the perfect playing ground too, and no annoying spectators ;)
