no it was just one evening, i finished xmas shopping and as soon as it went dark out came the cam........!!

Do you use any filters for these types of shot?

no filters at all Alastair.........sometimes i get star effects on lights if i a smaller aperture that seem to be the result.........see my other image of Albert dock
