How did this happen?

(Sellotape each end of the strip to the glass of the scanner, that way it will scan it as a whole- the sticky will come off with spirits if there is any left)

Hamish,...I was thinking I would just use the film holders that came with the scanner. Would that not work?

(Besides,...I'm reluctant to apply sellotape to the scanner glass in case I dislodge any dust, which has become such a hallmark of my style.)

... I'm not sure you can scan a strip as a strip with the holder??
