Critique Welcomed I need a rest!

The summer is definitely over,

the harsh weather has set in

and some have sought shelter from

the southern winds.

The gales seem to have lessened in strength,

and as unpredictable as they are,

we may not have lost them, by far.

So after these turmoil times I need to rest.

I need to lay back to relieve the pressure

on my chest.

I do not know how long this shall take

or if the recuperation shall make,

my mind back to order as friends have left

right now it seems that I have been

exposed to a theft.

But alas winter shall pass

and again the warming sun

shall hopefully shine through

give energy to weary soul.

‘Cause it seems

that certain conditions

have taken a toll.
